Self-Acceptance and Decision-Making Capacity in Adolescence

Self-acceptance is associated with psychological well-being and at the same time influences decision-making capacity. The main objective of paper was to research relationship between level self-acceptance adolescents decisional two hypotheses tested during study were: self-esteem which are positively correlated an efficient process; there a statistically significant difference in unconditional acceptance boys girls. An experimental program, based on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, implemented for 90 students from high school (Pitești, Romania). results obtained end personal development program highlighted increase values variables pursued, resulting capacity self-acceptance. Higher predicts higher (Spearman's rho = .425; p ˂ 0.01). conclusion this shows that proved be effective, differences pre- post-test scores.
